Ulrik has helmed 4 feature films and 3 major drama series for NRK and BBC1. His work has sold to over 50 countries.
Ulrik wrote and directed NRK series TAXI which won the Norwegian GULLRUTEN award for BEST DRAMA SERIES in 2012 and was nominated for PRIX EUROPA’S BEST EUROPEAN DRAMA. It was the highest rating drama in Norway.
Ulrik also directed drama-series IN THE DARK for BBC1 based on a series of books by Mark Billingham, starring MyAnna Buring as DI Helen Weeks.
Aside from scripted drama, Ulrik also directed the documentary RECRUITING FOR JIHAD which was released by NRK in 2017 and distributed worldwide by US streaming channel Sundance Now.
Ulrik is currently in production on a major 4-part true-crime series for NRK.
